PRODUCT OVERVIEW

HOACO RFID converting machines are designed for multi-layer lamination and die cutting of various RFID labels and tags, including special applications such as anti-metal tags. The systems deliver high-precision, high-efficiency production performance for mass manufacturing. Combined with customized RFID inspection systems, they enable automatic defect marking and 100% inspection to ensure tag quality and reliability.

As one of HOACO’s core product lines, the RFID converting machine received the “2021 IoT Star” Most Influential Innovative Product Award. The equipment integrates multiple converting processes into one platform, including inline adhesive application, transfer, lamination, die cutting, defect inspection and marking, side waste removal, and automatic rewinding. It supports the processing of a wide range of materials and products, such as dry/wet inlays, stickers, hang tags, wash care labels, and airport baggage tags.

In addition, HOACO provides customized solutions with configurable stations and special functional modules tailored to customer requirements, enabling flexible adaptation to diverse production needs.

HOACO TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANTAGES

Adopting full servo transmission, multi axis synchronous control, and constant tension system to ensure operational stability and product consistency

INLAY transfer/composite accuracy reaches ± 0.5mm, die-cutting accuracy is ± 0.1 mm to ± 0.2 mm, and certain models have ± 0.1mm automatic alignment accuracy

The production speed can reach 50-70 meters per minute, with a yield rate of up to 99.8%, and the annual output is about 25% higher than traditional systems

Equipped with a CCD tracking system, the machine can accurately position difficult materials such as graphite sheets

Support rapid material replacement, automatic correction, and dual backup inflation system to ensure production continuity

Dry Inlay Vacuum-based Cut-n-Transfer

The Vacuum-based Cut-n-Transfer saves process tapes and offers reasonable precision tolerance up to ±0.5mm.

Async Transfer Islad Placement of Wet Inlay + Printed Label Lamination

The Async Transfer requires supporting process tapes but delivers ultimate lamination precision up to ±0.2mm.

CCD Vision Inspection

Triggered by proximity or mark sensor, high-end CCD cameras captures a high-resolution motion image for visual analysis of dimensional measurement, leftover wastes, stains or misalignment.

Inline RFID Testing

Connected to a single RFID controller, multiple RFID Testing can be positioned optimally to perform inline RFID functional checks for optimal process control and maximize yield.

Inline Hotmelt Adhesive Coating

Folded Antenna

Inline Defect Marking

In the event of defective parts detected by either CCD or RFID tester, inkjet printers can be triggered to print black marks on the defects for easy quality control and analysis before shipment.

LAYERS OF A TYPICAL
RFID LABEL

1. Release Liner

2. Bottom Adhesive

3. RFID Inlay (Antenna + Chip)

4. Label Material (Blank or Printed)

5. (Optional) Protective Coating

More complicated RFID labels might include compensation layer for chip protection, absorption layer for pressure buffering, additional liners, conductive or dielectric layers, etc.
